The first dog imported to Sweden was in 1996. The first dog imported to Finland was in 1985 The first litter born in Italy was in 1991. The Pyrenean Mastiff was "adopted" by the club "Reunion des Amateurs des Chiens Pyrenees" in France in 1986. The first dog imported to the Netherlands was born in 1987 and his name was Sandor.
