About the event

Dr. Andrea Hesser will be speaking about the basics of canine reproduction regarding owning a stud dog, a breeding female and the identifying factors to consider when to seek emergent care during whelping. 

Dr. Hesser is a board-certified specialist in reproductive medicine and  surgery, as well as a general practitioner with special interests in  pediatric care, health testing, and surgery. She became boarded in 2016,  and has since been in general and specialty practice in Oklahoma and  Texas. Dr. Hesser has spoken nationally and internationally to  veterinarians, breeders, and owners about topics in canine reproduction  and neonatology, and enjoys locum teaching 4th year veterinary students  at Oklahoma State University on occasion. She attended Oklahoma State  University (DVM) and University of California at Davis (DACT).
