This Application is for those interested in adopting from the PMAA Rescue.
Adoption fees are $650 for dogs 2 years and older and $750 for dogs under 2 years old.

All rescue dogs will be on contracts bound to PMAA.

While shedding is not year-round, this breed still requires routine coat up keep. How do you plan to groom your puppy/dog?

Your dog/puppy will have to be spayed/neutered before being relinquished, do you understand or have any issues with this?

Giant breeds can be exponentially more expensive than smaller breeds, are you prepared to pay up to $2000 or more a year in non-emergent veterinary care to include illness, shots, flea and tick preventative, and heartworm preventative?

If your puppy will be a livestock guardian:

While this breed has instinct to guard livestock they still require appropriate training. Also, please keep in mind that a puppy cannot actively guard on its own till it is 18 months to 2 years, while they are young they can easily be targeted by predators or injure livestock.

If your puppy/dog will be a Livestock Guardian, do you have experience training a Livestock Guardian? If you do not have experience training a livestock guardian, how do you plan to learn to train a livestock guardian?
