Hello, My name is Shelly Ballard and I am one of the currently 6 Board Members for Pyrenean Mastiff Association of America.
Although I do not possess the experience of many on the Board, I feel it is important to get involved and try to help as much as I can. I became very interested in this breed back in 2019 because I was looking for a well-rounded dog that could be around my farm animals, family, and friends without having to settle for traits that I didn’t want. I now have 3 Pyrenean Mastiffs, 2 sisters from Spain and a boy who came from Estrella Polar in Texas.
I soon decided to breed them as I felt like there was a need for ethical and responsible breeders. Many people don’t know about this breed that could benefit from them if they have livestock. I look forward to doing my part to help encourage the Pyrenean Mastiff community to be the best that it can be. I want to see this breed and club thrive in the United States and I want to be part of the change and growth to the best of my ability. I look forward to being apart of the growth of Pyrenean Mastiff Association of America by recommending different opportunities for education, mentorship and more.
My other goal is to help the club by using the skills I do have in helping with products that membership may enjoy that will show off their love for the Pyrenean Mastiff.
